Ullerup's initial role was as Julia Brynn on the remake television series of Battlestar Galactica in 2006, which aired on the Sci Fi Channel. In the initial two seasons on Sanctuary, she was Ashley Magnus until the character was deleted. Her departure remained the subject that caused heated discussion among the fans, with many who wanted her back for future episodes until the show was canceled in the year 2012. Ullerup played the role of Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in 2016. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas as the estranged ex-wife of Michael Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact. In 2016, Ullerup has had a recurring part in the role of Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films series.
