Kim Cattrall

Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and
the UK. She is best known for her role as Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the
City (1998-2004) in which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four
Golden Globe Award nominations, winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best
Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in the movies Sex and the City (2008)
and Sex and the City 2 (2011). Cattrall first appeared in Rosebud (1975) and
later went on to perform various roles in television. With films such as Ticket
to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up (85) (also known as City
Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86(also known as Mannequin(also known
as Mannequin (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989 and The
Return of the Musketeers in 1989. In the following year, Cattrall became an
international star. She worked on several occasions alongside director Bob
Clark, appearing in four of his films: Tribute (1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182
(1985) as well as Baby Geniuses (1999). Other credits include The Bonfire of
the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second
(1992), Above Suspicion (95), and 15 Minutes (192001).
